Association of Irish Professional Conference Organisers joins EFAPCO
The Association of Irish Professional Conference Organisers (AIPCO) has become the 11th full member of EFAPCO (European Federation of the Association of Professional Congress Organisers).
Nicolas Le Brun, President of the Federation commented, “The federation now embraces all national associations of PCOs operating in Europe. Future recruitment will focus on other EU countries where - with some help from EFAPCO - local PCOs will form their own associations, and join in with the Federation’s activities.”
Jean Evans, Vice Chair of AIPCO and Director of Conferences at MCI Dublin commented “This is fantastic news for AIPCO. We are delighted to be welcomed into EFAPCO and are hopeful this will give the Irish PCO industry further recognition in Europe and indeed strengthen the overall profile of the PCO industry within the European meetings and events sector.”
